RK, Re.Do you think it is a good idea to short AMD? Sorry, I don't play the short side other than "short against the box" as a strategic move for my long positions. It is strictly a personal thing. But a few people whom I know--and whose investment savvy I highly respect--have told me that the best short plays involve stocks which are on a long-term down trend. In technical terms, its 200d EMA (exponential moving average) should be pointing downward and the stock trading below it. If you think AMD is on such an alpine course, then it could be a good candidate for shorting. Regards, Ibexx
