I'm watching and there are now two potential coffee roasters up for sale. Is the director of Dunkin Doughnuts still watching?

Sara Lee Corp. said Wednesday, Feb. 23, it plans to complete its recently announced divestiture program in about a year, with the spinout of its apparel division taking another six months after that.

While the moves were announced two weeks ago, this is the first timetable the Chicago-based company has laid out. Speaking at the Consumer Analyst Group of New York Conference, recently named chief executive Brenda Barnes said Sara Lee will work "aggressively" to close the deals.

On Feb. 10, Sara Lee said it will sell its European meats, U.S. retail coffee and direct-selling businesses. Additionally, it will spin off its apparel business, a division that generates $4.6 billion in sales and includes such brand names as Hanes, Champion, Bali and Just My Size.
