Obviously, if some sort of covert operation occured surrounding 9/11 it was carried out by spooks that we'll never know the names of. I'm more inclined to think our government knew 9/11 was coming and just let it happen to further their own goals. How could the CIA not have known 9/11 was in the works? The most powerful intelligence agency on earth was caught totally off-guard when the biggest terrorist strike occurred on U.S. soil. Not likely at all. They've got eyes and ears all over the world. Other intelligence agencies apparently knew. Surely, the CIA knew what was going on before 9/11 occured.
