When you say that you think abortion should be the choice of the woman, does that include the unborn woman or just her mother?

Why should someone be able to decide an innocent person can be killed because they're not wanted?

You say in your next post that you don't believe in the death penalty. Abortion is the death penalty for an unborn child.

I used to think abortion should be legal but would never have one myself. That is until I became a Histologist and worked the the Pathology Department of 2 hospitals that committed abortions.

The dismembered child is placed in a jar or large plastic tub (depending on the size of the child) in Formalin and labeled POC (products of conception) to be processed.

I'll never forget the first time I picked up one of the jars of an aborted child. (the jars are the same size as a spice jar your Oregano, Cinnamon, etc. comes in) I held it up, looked in it and could not believe my eyes. I could see arms, legs and a rib cage. The rib cage was no larger than my thumb nail. There was no doubt that this was a human being and not "a blob of protoplasm."

By the time an abortion is committed, you can clearly see this is a human being and not an embryo.

Many times it was the patients 2nd, 3rd or 4th abortion. This was their form of birth control. Where is the personal responsibility here?

Some of the abortions that were performed on older children were supposedly done because there was something wrong with the baby. I witnessed several that had no defects when being examined after they were aborted. (the older babies were not usually dismembered) I always wondered if the doctors told the parents they had made a mistake.

Some of these older children had hair on their heads and could survive outside the womb.

Abortion can affect your ability to become pregnant again. For some mothers, the child they just discarded will be the only child they will conceive.

At one of the hospitals, after processing the child, he or she was dumped in a garbage barrel with the other "POC's". After a period of time, they were incinerated. The first time I saw this pile, pictures of the Holocaust flashed in my head. The only difference was the size of the people.

From personal experience, as far as can see, before birth or after, murder is murder. Just because something is legal doesn't mean it's right. Slavery was legal at one time too.
