Answer a direct question for me within this context. That might help to clear some of the confusion here.

A young man enters the military because he wants to commit himself to the effort and American agenda in Iraq, he is prepared to stand up to the Al-Zaraqawi insurgents and make the ultimate sacrifice if need be.

What do you mean by 'we support the troops but not the war' with specific reference to this young man?

You hope that he succeeds, or not? In what way are you supporting this troop?
