Orca....Thanks for coming up with an answer.

My question again was.....Yes I knew that, but how have these powerful government people controlled the population for 1500 years or so?.....
Message 21096660

You said....."For the last 50 years the ruling family has become very wealthy. That keeps them in power. That and a very close relationship with the US. Especially the Bush family.".....

Do you really believe that this is the reason and the way the powerful in Saudi Arabia control their population?

Remember your original question to me.

You had asked me this...."What kind of freedom does ally Saudi Arabia have?".....
Message 21092486

And you said this...."Saudi Arabia is not free."....
Message 21096462

So let me put this another way...In what way are Saudi Arabia citizens not free... what keeps them from being free as you stated?

You said...."They are well taken care of, so they don't care about education or jobs.".....

I agree with one thing. They don't care or want a modern education....IMO that's why the rich Saudi's come to Western countries for a real and proper education.
