The question that was initially posed regarded "suicide bombers". That was the specific situation where I was suggesting that Hamas and "al Qaeda" cells could very easily have been infiltrated and led by agents provocateurs from clandestine intelligence agencies.
This was clearly the case in the 1993 truck bombing at the World Trade Center, where there is nearly irrefutable proof that the FBI was completely aware of the plot and did nothing to stop the perpetrators. Cf.: tinyurl.com
As you read the entry for February 26, 1993, you will be introduced to the name Emad Salem, an Egyptian spy who was working for the FBI in what he thought was a sting operation, but which turned out to be an FBI-enhanced attack on the World Trade Center.

Almost certainly. Seven of the purported hijackers came forward after 9/11/01 to announce to the world that they were not involved in the plot. Some reported that they were the victims of identity theft.

For the same reason that Iranian street thugs worked for the CIA in 1953 to overthrown Mossadeq in Iran, for the same reason that patsies always work for smarter con-men. Because they're duped and because they are offered rewards. It works the same with any intelligence service. For instance, when I was involved with anti-war activities in the late 1960s and early 1970s, we were sometimes egged on to perform illegal acts by government agents provocateurs who had infiltrated our meetings. Most of this deceit was carried on under the rubric of COINTELPRO, Counter Intelligence Program. Intelligence services are the most dishonorable people on the planet, no matter which country they purport to be working for.

It does not really matter what we believe, per se. What matters is the fact case. And the fact is that the U.S. government was getting abundant warning of an attack in the summer of 2001. As then DCI George Tenet said, "the system was blinking red". There were warnings being passed to U.S. intel by the Russians, Germans, Italians, Argentinians, France, India, Israel, Jordan and others....

As has been said about another famous conspiracy, it is an enigma, inside of a puzzle inside of a conundrum.
All we know is who the perpetrators were not. I.e. they were not the patsies that were so conveniently announce to the world in the immediate aftermath of the attacks. We do not know who perpetrated 9/11.
Let me put it slightly differently. There are many conspiracy theories about what happened on 9/11. But there is only one conspiracy theory that is thoroughly debunked, and that is the "official" story. |
