The triage is already started. NPR had an eye opening segment yesterday on TenCare, the Tennessee Medicaid system that is in crisis. It is time for all of us to start to make adult decisions, and some of them are going to be extremely unpleasant.

Here's a feature on TennCare from January, discussing the necessity to drop 322,000 recipients from the program:

You bet. And we are barely starting down this slope. When I see what George Bush has in mind for slashing social services in order to feed his elite army of war profiteers, all I can see is millions of decent average Americans being wiped out for the sake of a rapacious criminal elite. And it makes me very angry.
