Everyone in America should know about factory farming. Where you live or the fact that you are a farmer and I'm not doesn't have any relevance at all as far as I'm concerned to this discussion. We are talking about the way animals--sentient beings with feelings--are treated. Societies bear responsibility for that. The Europeans are changing their laws so that pigs have room to play and chickens are not crowded, and they are analyzing how to keep the animals happy and have them lead normal animal lives. That is not what America is doing. I think everyone should know these things.
