The Heritage Foundation has Social Security Calculator heritage.org up and running that empirically proves the financial advantages of personal accounts. I plan to have one up shortly that is more comprehensive. Heritage merely asks for the age of the taxpayer when he starts Social Security , assigns him a salary of $25,000 per year, assumes all of his taxes are paid into his personal account then computes the taxes withheld, the accumulated nest egg and the monthly payment (adjusted for inflation) the taxpayer can look forward to. For a 25 year old man, the difference between the present Social Security System and Heritage's computation is an increase in his monthly retirement check of over $6,000.

Go up on the site and e-mail all your friends to do it too. Especially your Democrat friends. If you have Latino or Black friends privatization must be understood to be the greatest transfer of wealth ever devised by any country at any time in history. It is a great way to stake your kids with a start in life. Democrat minorities must be made aware of the differences between Republicans who are trying to do something for them and Democrats who want to keep them trivialized and poor.
