Ibexx, this is my first post on this thread although confess to several months of lurking. Long INTC, but fairly recent. Always afraid for fear of a "history repeats", i.e., is INTC the next IBM of the late '80's early 90's? Andy Grove finally convinced me that he has the whole company tuned in to 'only the paranoid survive' and that complacency is the only "will-not-be-tolerated-for-any-reason mantra" at INTC, an incredible managerial accomplishment given INTC's size. Would like to humbly suggest that this thread adopt the same outlook. It is just too damn easy to become fat, dumb, and happy--particularly when the competition seems intent on shooting itself in both feet. Good Lord, a visit to the AMD thread should be off limits to the clinically depressed! Happy to be on board but would like to encourage posts of info that point to potential chinks in this amazing monetary/technological machine. Cheers, Mike Doyle
