There is no rule at all at Feelies restricting what anyone can say about public figures. It is not my fault that you have chosen to follow such a moronic one--you have freedom of choice. I did not call YOU a moron. But my goodness, the non-stock boards at SI would be empty of posters if expressing one's feelings about Bush or Kerry or Clinton or whoever is in the public eye was forbidden. It would be silly, in fact.

That is quite different from keeping this thread clean of racial/ethnic/general bigot slurs. People of all races and religions and gender associations read this thread. They are all private citizens, and are deserving of posting here without having their feelings hurt simply because of who they are. These are things they cannot help or change, whereas you COULD change your political beliefs if you were enlightened somehow.

There is a rule at Feelies about character assassination and personal attacks, though. Your posts at other threads about me and Feelies that fall into these categories are pointed out to me on a regular basis. Posters who come over here and write posts and then go back to those yucky threads and crow about them (emptily, I might add--quite inane, really, the whole thing) are not acting graciously in any way and are not welcome here.

I don't know you at all and have never written anything negative about you. I have no idea why you believe you are entitled to write horrible things about me, but if you do again I will have to ban you from posting here, even though your contributions might otherwise be interesting. Totally up to you.
