Isn't that kinda anecdotal evidence?

I don't know what the guy was doing and neither do you. If he had been at MSU and had walked up to students in a prayer session and said, "There is NO Christ" he ALSO would have been suspended WITH pay.

In EITHER case I think it would be appropriate to question the guy's judgement about picking arguments with students in hallways.
