I can't believe the rain we're getting this year. I am amazed at how much we are getting, and that the rain has been spread over many days. Occasionally, as you know, we get those horrendous deluges that wash everything away, but this year it just seems to be lots of steady rain. My piano teacher is fabulous despite the piano. She's very young, just out of college, but very gifted. She's given me some really great tips in reaching the bottom of the keys. I think my dynamics have improved in just the short time I've been with her. I'm sure when she is making more money she'll buy a better piano, but right now I'm lucky to have found her. It's surprisingly hard to find piano teachers who will teach adults in our area, everyone wants to teach kids. I would have thought adults would be easier- but maybe they are more demanding, I don't know. That's fun stuff you collect- the little pigs. I always had a fondness for the Shawnee pottery pigs. They have such happy faces. I saw a hammock at the discovery store near us (on clearance) and thought of you- I can't remember if it was a double hammock. You might want to call your local discovery store and see it they have the hammocks at a location near you.
