My top pick for paid tout and shill... David Stewart of the Stewart Report. Posts here and on Motley Fool under various aliases. He was one of the paid promoters for Zitel (along with Emerald Research) and various other Y2K frauds. Diamond Dave has a nearly perfect record of promoting stocks which seem to have "unusual" volume/price activity a few weeks/months before his recommendations are published...stocks which proceed to collapse in spectacular fashion. Dave - if you're reading this...you're a filthy crook.
