Not sure if we're limiting to political code. Here are some business codes:

Due diligence = reaffirm how smart your original decision was.
Group consensus = browbeat underlings into agreement.
Productivity tools = toys and nuisances.
Best practices = whatever someone actually got working.
Gaining traction = can no longer justify the effort with measurable results.
Group design = lowest common denominator that we could agree on.
Reengineering = throw it out and start again.
Polishing = desperately adding features past the deadline.
Price point = deluding ourselves into thinking we can make a profit building it.
Meeting of the minds = getting bawled out.

And, of course:

A feature = a bug.
