You know, there is a big area between not telling the WHOLE truth and lying. What if his favorite hobby was having threesomes with hookers? Opium dens? Bear baiting? I mean honesty is GREAT- but you don't have to tell the kids how you get your freak on- not EVEN if they ask you. Really. Even in Las Vegas folks should know better.
