Subject: Bob Carr Questions.

Dear Sir.

I'm writing in hopes of filling in some answers I have concerning Universal Ice Blast. If you can answer them fine. I'm a small shareholder and I like to dig as deep as I can, If I''m out of line I don't mind being told so.These are the questions I have.
1. In the recent shareholders letter you stated we were to be Shinko Denso's exclusive manufacturing licensee for Japan and Thailand. Does that mean we will build the machines for them. (( They will build machines for us.)) Are they then our distributor? (( Yes. )) Am I reading that correctly. I cannot find anything out about Shinko Denso through googleing. Any links to the company would be appreciated. (( There are none, they are a small family owned business. They build quality equipment. Their main strength is developing new products with ice blast as the key component in systems.))
2. A related question. In the same letter you talk about a new suite of products to be developed by them for automotive and electronics. I'm curious about that specifically the electronics applications we may have in the future. (( We have tested some cleaning of silicon components, Ice blast is better than existing methods.)) Also any time line for the letter of intent to be completed and any explanation of fees if possible.(( LOI is in their hands. When the deal is complete we will provide more details. ))
3. There has been a lot of speculation about the role of Ice Blast in regards to the Smart Car line. What is the application Ice Blast is being put to use on. I believe cleaning was mentioned. Is that right and if so any elaboration along the lines of are we in a production line set up or cleaning on a more general as needed basis? What are we cleaning. (( Our ice blast unit has been inserted into the production-line to cleaning tooling. We are not at liberty to disclose any more. The machine is working on 2 or 3 shifts a day, it is doing well as it was installed in early Feb. What is important, is that our license strategy is working. The machine was built by out licensee builder in Holland. and sold by our licensee distributor. This sale will be booked by UIBI. ))
4. Ford is where alot of our hopes are still resting and I have heard nothing but good lately from the co. and Mr. Neal. Is it true that ABB Robotics has the contract to set up a mock production line in which our machine will be evaluated by Ford for their gear cleaning and deburring. ((Yes.)) Is Sigma 6 the yardstick they will be using and any time frame for this all to happen? (( yes, in 6 to 8 weeks if all goes to plan. )) ie is the mock line set up yet? (( yes.)) how long after it is set up will trials + tests take then what is the length of time needed for Ford to make a decision? Also how long before they could actually set up a real line in one of their plants to put Ice Blast to work? (( That information has not been decided, it would have to deal with the success of us blasting parts within the time frame and with a consistency and cleanliness standard we showed in all previous tests we made.))
5. We are all eagerly awaiting the release of the financial report. (( Me too. )) I for one appreciate your reasons for not filing at least at this time. You seemed to imply if I read the letter rightly, that to do so (file) would be a poor use of time and resources. All I need are the reports that show what the company has been doing recently. I as an investor (however small) need a yardstick I trust to gage the companies progress from time to time. Please take this in a positive way. Also If I may suggest, at this point and with little extra cost or effort, I believe a fuller description within the financial report of our dealings with the other companies mentioned in previous press releases as far as fees and sales figures would give investors something more concrete to hang their hats on.(( I agree. We are reviewing preliminary financials. They will not be filed with the SEC, they will be management-prepared statements, with a MD&A report and released on our website. ))
6. What are your plans for further financing? (( we are working on that...this email has interrupted that process ( I am being quite sincere about this intrusion on time. These emails are easier for me to answer than your frequent phone calls Bob). We are a small firm and working substantial hours to make this company get thru these tough months. The Market makers and other folks out there that killed our market have not done us any good. If ever a case study was made about how the market should not operate, we would be the company that is an example. I wrote to the SEC about this and they are assessing the information.)) Can you give out any necessary amounts needed to keep UIBT a going concern? (( I can but will not, it depends on the level that we want to operate on, investor appetite and the "deal". ))
7. Any plan or strategy to get trading of our stock going in earnest again? (( Not until I can get the fundamentals in place. We have not been rewarded for the work we have done, and we have spent a lot of money doing so, to no avail.. ))

In closing I must say I believe in the company and our successfull conclusion with Ford which should be the lynch pin for our speedier success. I'm mainly worried about how we will fare during 2005. (( We are all concerned, which is why everyone in this company is working like they are. We too have a lot to lose. )) I also appreciate your efforts over the years on behalf of the company. Also your efforts of focusing this company and turning it away from the scattered approach of the past.

Thank You and Best Regards Robert A Carr III
Bob to my friends.
