William and all, Apparently there was more to AMD's after hours trading. Below is a second news release following a previous one which stated a $2 7/8 price drop: _______ 18:05 NYSE Unavailables - <WY.N> <GMP.M> <AMD.N> NEW YORK, Sept 3 (Reuter) - The New York Stock Exchange said Wednesday that Weyerhaeuser Co <WY.N>, Green Mountain Power <GMP.N> and Advanced Micro Devices <AMD.N> were unavailable in after-hours trade for news. The exchange also said Buenos Aires Embotelladora <BAE.N> was unavailable for after-hours trade. ______ My guess is that trading was halted at around 6:00 because of inbalance of buy/sell orders. It would not be a pretty sight for AMD shareholders at tomorrow's open. Ibexx
