There is mounting evidence that Japanese deflation is near an end. Their prices indexes have been running almost flat year to year of late despite the economy's slide back into recession.

Once can argue that the end of deflation in Japan will be quickly followed by a big run in Japan equities which have lagged far behind other global markets. Also substantial upward pressure on global interest rates as zero Japan rates gradually become a distant memory. Plus further strength of the yen against the clownbuck.
