The volcanoes have been blowing for millions of years, yet there has been a 30% increase in CO2 in just the last 150 years, based on the Greenland ice cores. They go back 400,000 years, the longest accurate reading that we have of CO2 levels, and they have not been as high as they are now during all of that time.
