How many jobs were accounted for as a result of the infamous "birth-death rate"?

Of late, this wondrous bit of US government sleight-of-hand has conjured up the majority of the newly created jobs. Trouble is, those jobs exist only within the government stats and aren't associated with real people. (NG)
