Yes, I should have said radical simplification of the tax code. I too would be greatly in favor of a national sales tax. I have a farm, and employ some farm labor, so I would really like to see a simplification of employment issues in general, specifically workmens comp. Small employers (not many man hours/year) can have a difficult time getting cost effective workmens comp insurance. Unfortunately, both workmens comp and SS disability are targets for scams. Has there been any discussion in the reforming SS talk regarding reforming SS disability? How will Bush's proposed changes impact SS disability, if at all?
