I came into the garage one day to find my Husky dog sitting in a corner with 14 male dogs fighting over her. She was sitting in a corner making eyes at them enjoying the attention. I pulled her in the house and phoned the humane society and the next day 10 more dogs showed up. I had no idea there were that many dogs in the whole country. I sprayed them with bear repellant and they took off. One of them was very persistent he was small and black and had only three legs. The bear spray was orange and I still remember him running across the yard on three legs with his orange head and he was there again that night. She had 9 puppies that were fathered by everything from a three legged black dog to a Newfoundland.
