John,
<Father, Engineer, Landlord, Pilot, Builder,Inventor, Investor>
You have the background I'm looking for. Actually, there might be a few others ... but, you're the first "engineer" I found checking profiles, and Consulting Engineering Firm caught my attention ... so, you got the honor.
I'm on the TPRO thread. I believe, they're the largest systems integrator in Wonderware's stable. We're trying to understand the inter-relationship between TPRO and Wonderware.
Could you, or any other engineering minded guys/gals, help us out, please.
I posted a couple of relevant threads discussing Wonderware: techstocks.com techstocks.com techstocks.com techstocks.com
<Any factory floor engineers lurking out there? I just posted some thinking out loud regarding the WNDR press release. I think I'm generally correct, but may have the specifics wrong.
Anyway, check my logic. What's good for WNDR is good for TPRO. It seems to me it is like upgrading the disk operating system on your computer Suddenly some of your application programs don't work, so you have to upgrade them also. Upgrade your WNDR legacy system, then upgrade your applications (i.e your production line). And WNDR has a huge installed base. Check the WNDR press release at 6 am on Thursday on BUSINESS WIRE. It should clarify these matters.>
Greatly appreciate your input. Come into TPRO clubhouse & ask for Karl. (He's checking ID's)
Thanks,
Cheryl |
