Mark....."Here is a good article on that topic:".... That was a good article and even though the over all theme was the environment it explains well the dangers of and power of organized religions and how they can affect us all. Even small and otherwise unknown religions can be be powerful weapons. Example-those people who committed mass suicide a few years back in the belief that they could hitch a ride on a passing comet ( Hale-Bopp?)that would take them to paradise someplace. These people actually believed in what they were doing...IMO. Religion can be used as a powerful weapon especially if a person has been taught from birth the beliefs they live by. I am non religious and favor none of them.
