Cory, as a subscriber to thestreet.com, on the decision not to attend, I say - thank you...

...actually more like THANK YOU!!!

Your publication and the Motley Fool covered it very well and both did the story justice when it was "newsworthy"--and let's face it, it was newsworthy on a variety of levels, each interesting in their own right--but the guy should be allowed to either fade into obscurity and/or get the help he so obviously needs.

I think the most interesting thing that happened here was seeing how fast, IMHO, this community captured his flag, burned it, poured the ashes over his head, and sent him packing (and let's hope it's just not "for now" and he has the sense to play in his own little sandbox). I don't know if he showed up over on the MF boards, but I'd be surprised if that community didn't do the same.

The guy with the really fierce "I WILL EAT YOU FOR LUNCH AND YOU WILL THANK ME FOR IT" headshot gets a lot of mentions here and there in SI, but the whole staff deserves a lot of credit for the great work you're all putting out.

Keep it up (actually, you probably here that and more a little too often <g>)

Tom
