Japan exceeded 1 million net WCDMA additions for the first time....Docomo had 925,000 new WCDMA subs and VOD added another 148,000.

Overall, Docomo added 246,000, KDDI added 184,000 and VOD lost 53,000.

Vodafone has some major problems in Japan. Their launch of 3G models in December has done nothing to arrest their loss of market share...in fact, it has actually accelerated over the last three months.
