Jeff,

Thank you for expressing K6 supporting two Vcc voltages, but the two voltages are static (constant). On the other hand, Ppro and P-II have one static Vcc and one dynamic Vcc. The dynamic Vcc is programmable (selected) by the processors so when the core gets too hot, the processor lowers this Vcc to a level that the junction temperature does not destroy this expensive device. This is an ingenious way to push the CPUs to the limit of operating performance without breaking them.
