The Italian journalist said her captives told her to be careful. I guess every Iraqi knows about how trigger happy our troops have become. Understandable, given the crappy situation that Bush got them into. Iraqis are reacted to this story with "Yeah, we told you so". One Iraqi told his story of following a US convoy, but knowing that he had to stay well back to be safe. Was 500 meters behind the convoy when a bomb went off. Our troops started firing 360 degrees, targetting anything. Guy took a bullet in the leg and lost the leg. While driving his grandfather to a hospital a few miles away from his home. Happens to Iraqis every day. Only getting press now because it happened to a European.
