As usual, I can see why you are a successful broker. That's a very clear and concise explanation. The plan may work, I suppose, though it looks like a way of exchanging long term gains for short term gains unless they can classify their distributions as "qualified dividends." Which might be risky since they are not dividends.

But it might be a good thing to have in an IRA.

I might buy some just to see what happens, if my IRA custodian lists it. Does it have a symbol yet?
