Only one further question: Do you believe its right to pay $6 million in ransom to those gangsters to get her out?

I ask myself how I would feel if it was my son, or daughter, or wife....I can't answer NO without some feeling of hypocrisy or guilt.

If my unexperienced young son or daughter unwittingly stepped into a gangster trap like that, yes I understand and agree with you. Now this person is a pro war correspondent, commie or not. She knew exactly what she was getting into and weighed the risk against boosting her career by putting her life at stake in a war zone full of head-choppers and other lunatics. She was hardly an innocent.

So, may I repeat my question: Under the circumstances, do you believe Berlusconi did the right thing in paying a $6 million ransom to bail her out?

Takes very little imagination to get an idea of how that money is reinvested in the death of additional "infidels".
