I really should have said that Watauga is about sold out in terms of being affordable. Where I live... I own two acres.. the acerage that I paid $ 35.000 per acre is now over $ 125.000 and acre and going UP.

It was $ 98.00 a sq. ft.to build a home. It is now well over $ 150.00 sq. ft to build and higher. Depends on contrator one hires.
