Dennis,welcome and thanks for your post. We are all happy to help, for this is the reason of this thread.

As far as the drip program is concerned I never use it. I looked at it at one point and some of the restrictions and the fact that you can only buy once a month did not appeal to me. If you want to go the route of small investments whenever you have some extra money I would prefer the buy 1 share program. Once you own 1 share or as many as you would like to buy in your own name ( not in street name ) you can buy directly from the company without commissions. I am pretty sure that Intel is in this program but make sure to call their 800 number, they will give you the information.
