Right. We normally fly in with out fighter protection. Nor do we use ECM.

Yup. Protection that isn't needed against pretty much everyone. Yeah, Russia has some MBTs that might be a threat. But China doesn't. Nor does the ME. That takes a T90, and only India has a few. A T-72 ain't gonna cut it.

The problem with a carrier group is they have all those ships to protect them that are no longer needed. Which is why they run $100 billion.
