I enjoy talking about books, movie, food, etc. But my childhood was full of people debating ideas, and I miss that in my adult life. Children, cats and dogs just are not usually that interested. Politics are religion are not really suitable topics for work discussions, and I like to keep my home environment really peaceful. I still think it is kind of neat that people from all over the world post here on occasion, with so many diverse opinions and worldviews. I enjoy engaging them, and I think I learn a lot. I would agree that people who simply want to argue endlessly are a drag.
