CEO Bill Rastetter was recruited out of Genentech. There are other ties between the companies. Any takeover would likely be friendly and on favorable terms for IDPH shareholders. Rastetter has a lot at stake (options) and will look out for the shareholders interests. Given the strong cash position of IDPH and the prospects for their products, it would not seem likely that IDPH would be looking to be acquired.
