KLP, If you want to know more about the early years of Quanah Parker, get the book "Ride The Wind". It is mainly about his Mother, who was Cynthia Ann Parker who was kidnapped by the Comanche when she was 9 years old. Despite her blonde hair, and blue eyes, she completely became a Comanche woman, and renamed as Naduah. It is a bit novelized, but the facts have been carefully researched, and presented.
