I don't think it is possible to change the minds and hearts of those who have all ready discounted anything that lends itself to an interpretation of an event by Democrats and/or Liberals. AND if perchance it comes from Socialist or Manifesto II... as was the newspapers that Sgrena 'CONTRIBUTED TO... which of course is Communist....(the circulation is purported to be a hundred thousand.. not great, no more than the free papers circulation down here in Florida) it is just Commie propaganda.. What I find upsetting, probably only to me, is the willingness of everyone to discount anything that might have a thread of truth in it by negating completely the message if it comes from the above mentioned sources... Personally to find truth sometimes it means perusing everything and then with the best information one has trying to discern the truth. For example. This woman was against the war . However she was in Iraq as I understand for humanitarian purposes.. Not to be a political advocate of anything more than caring about the civilian population. This would endear her to me regardless of her political affliations... However, now she has become a political football and the incident has become an international one. It will be bounced around back and forth with bloggers defending or attacking the events. Depending on what Blogging thread one is on. It is just one unfortunate event in the avenue of many. It was even suggested that Italy paid a handsome ransom for her and we objected as you know we do not pay ransoms which is why we have had some beheadings of captives. And that we were angry over this as money to the Terrorists is not easily digested as they can use it to buy arms....etc. There are other avenues of thinking. Choose and pick.
