Why do you think it is much different than the US? During the DOT COM rage the midwest and the South were suffering but the FED raised rates to lower rampant speculation on both coast. Today Tulsa OK, RE market is not Florida NY or CA and a rise in interest rates will hurt them more etc... etc......etc
