Again -- you engage in spin rather than clarity. A significant number of people I have known in the service, and very much the case in the reserve, see the military as an economic issue for them personally. You assume that they are either gung-ho on the war in Iraq (with no basis for that view), or too immature (with no basis for that view). Spin Jewel -- not clarity, is what you bring to your own thread.

You can't understand that there are people who simply mean what they say -- and then you decide to put words in their mouth. That is not clarity, that is license, guesswork and spin.
