Franklin Mining, Bolivia Releases Gold Production Information on Mayaya Project 3/8/2005 2:27:01 PM SAN ANTONIO, Mar 08, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Franklin Mining, Bolivia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Mining Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets:FMNJ). CEO Jaime Melgarejo stated the following, "Our new project engineer started by digging a new pit in an area that is more conducive to the geology for gold recovery on the property. A pit of 29 meters x 19.5 meters x 5 meters deep. This pit was started on Dec. 13, 2004. As of Jan. 30, 2005, this pit has yielded about 3.23 kilos of gold, with an average tenor of about .93 grams per cubic meter washed. The .93 gram tenor is more than double what has been seen in reports that have been done in our area. This tenor is representative of this pit only and what has been done to this point. Operations are due to resume this week."
Mr. Melgarejo further added, "In regards to other issues: The Web site administrator has told me that the Web site is down due to server problems...this should be corrected by the end of the week.
"We are in the process of scheduling a meeting with the board of directors."
