In most cases people tend to remember the outcomes far more than cause, effect, and conduct. People credit Abraham Lincoln with so much. However, historians don't view him as the savior the mainstream does. It was an ugly, horrible time of brother to brother hatred, brutality, corruption, and violence that was government sponsored. If the world changes as I hope it will, and brutal dictatorships are eliminated in the process, that could very well be Bush's legacy in the distant future ... deserved or not. And, why would you or anyone hope for anything less?
