Short answer? Yes.

Seems if we all went back to organic, subsistence farming, the entire world would be better fed. Not quite sure how organic farming helps the people of the 17 or so African countries currently suffering from some degree of famine, but hey - let's not bring the real world into granny's fantasies.

Hey, never mind the poor starving people in underdeveloped countries - what do you think it'd do to standards of living in the developed world if we reverted to an agrarian economy (without chemicals, of course - or livestock)?
