Nonsense. There is no democracy in Afghanistan. It is a facade. If there were no US troops to guard Karzai, he will be a goner within a week. Warlords rule different sections of the country, and they make rules as they deem fit. Karzai has control of Kabul and perhaps Kandahar, and that too, thanks to US troops.
