Too bad that blog has reported some of the facts of the case wrong.... Re: "They didn't tell our military that this was going to happen" Actually, they did inform US military command. They were instructed to drive with the car's lights on as a way to help identify the car. Also, the paper the Italian wrote for is not a 'Communist' paper. (Don't know anything about the reporter's personal beliefs though..., but I'm sure that her filing reports about the US using napalm in Falluja probably didn't make anyone happy.)
