As I've said, simple sentences please. Lets try again: Saddam could have produced a peaceful resolution to the 1990's conflict by resigning - what's your reply? How do you overlook the fact that he did not have ANY of these WMDs, which were the subject of war and the sanctions for 12 years which were the cause of thousands of Iraqi lives lost? If I was an Iraqi I would be pretty angry at this point. I didn't overlook that fact. My point was that it was Saddam's leadership that brought the turmoil to Iraq. The countries of Denmark, New Zealand and Costa Rica didn't get attacked, Iraq did. Saddam bears a huge responsibility for that, and Saddam had the power to avoid it if his interest was what's best for the Iraqi people, rather than what's best for himself.
