Raley's Rolls Out Manhattan Associates' Integrated Logistics Solutions(TM) for Food

ATLANTA, March 9, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Manhattan Associates(R), Inc. (MANH), the global leader in providing supply chain execution and optimization solutions, has deployed its Warehouse Management solution in two of Raley's distribution centers in Northern California. Raley's, a privately held, family owned supermarket chain with stores across Northern California, Nevada and New Mexico, implemented core components of Manhattan Associates' Integrated Logistics Solutions(TM) for Food-including its Warehouse Management, Labor Management and Performance Management solutions-to improve the efficiency of its supply chain operations and to more accurately monitor inventory levels. Raley's integrated Manhattan Associates' Warehouse Management solution with Vocollect's Voice-Directed Distribution. This allows Raley's warehouse employees to communicate with their Warehouse Management solution by voice, providing opportunities for increased productivity, order fulfillment accuracy and team safety.

This implementation marked the completion of the first phase of Raley's initiative to deploy capabilities of Manhattan Associates' Integrated Logistics Solutions across its supply chain operations. With these best practices in place, Raley's can synchronize its supply chain processes, speed up inventory cycle times and bring the freshest and best products to store shelves-ultimately enhancing the customer shopping experience.
