re: I didn't overlook that fact. My point was that it was Saddam's leadership that brought the turmoil to Iraq. The countries of Denmark, New Zealand and Costa Rica didn't get attacked, Iraq did. Saddam bears a huge responsibility for that, and Saddam had the power to avoid it if his interest was what's best for the Iraqi people, rather than what's best for himself.

So it is our right to invade and overthrow the government of any country that we deem isn't acting in the best interest of it's people? Is it other countries right to invade and overthrow the government of the US if they deem that our government isn't acting in the best interests of the US citizens? In your opinion, is sovereignty a dead concept; is the US now in charge of the world?
