And thus it is your accomplishment, too. You did nothing for Lance Armstrong. I don't see how we can take pride in anything we had no hand in. You had a hand in your son's accomplishment. For that you should be proud. If Armstrong learned to ride in an after-school program that you as a citizen had fought to get funded, then you could take pride in that. The proudest moment I had in my career was when a woman I encouraged and mentored, who wanted no part of management, was named supervisor of the year for the whole organization. I was proud for her and I was proud of my having been a catalyst.
